Words cannot even begin to describe the heartfelt feelings of staying at the Blue Canoe. The hosts were beyond gracious in all aspects, the cabin was spotless, quiet and perfect for our small family to make new memories. Tears were shed as we remembered our time of being Park Rangers on the Buffalo and those family members we have lost. It offered us peace and serenity and was not only the perfect spot for healing to start but also the perfect spot to celebrate a milestone birthday and reconnect with nature. Thank you isn't sufficient. We will return, perhaps in winter to once again reflect on life and enjoy the beauty of The Blue Canoe and the Buffalo. God Bless you!!

This cabin near the Buffalo River is the perfect place to escape from the busyness of life. Such a private and peaceful oasis. The cabin is clean, stocked, comfortable and charming, so many little details that make it extra special. Outside is the place to be, beautiful covered porch, pavilion and fire pit for taking in the view and the sunset. Screened in back porch is good for watching fireflies. We enjoyed watching a deer graze in the yard. Feels like you’re a million miles away from everybody, just the sights and sounds of nature are surrounding. I can’t say the word “peaceful” enough! Also the owners are very responsive and informative if you have questions. Definitely will return!

We absolutely loved our time at the Blue Canoe cabin! It’s conveniently located near several access points to the beautiful Buffalo River. The cabin is fresh and clean; it’s recently renovated with a lot of care given to convenience and accessibility, but also to enjoying the outdoors. The porch and pavilion are wonderful for sitting out and watching the sunrise and sunset. The kids especially loved sleeping upstairs by the big picture window. It was like sleeping under the stars! We can’t wait to come back!
